DJ Gone TV - Chester P

"Holy salamander slang, panda bi-polar bear / lonely heart bogeyman, phoney with a solar flare."

Sure, this instrumental sums up the worst of UK hip hop - moody, boring, uninspired - but if Chester P were to link the right beatmakers and craft some sharply honed songs, he could be a serious problem in 2012.

Estelle - Thank You feat. Busta Rhymes (Remix)

Estelle puts a call in to get Busta on her latest single as he keeps his name in people's mouths after signing with Cash Money Records late last year.

The grossly overhyped controversy surrounding M.I.A.'s recent Super Bowl performance - specifically her flipping the bird to camera - has yet to die down, but the hoo ha certainly isn't doing her latest single any harm. In what can only be described as Arabs behaving like lunatics, the video to Bad Girls is a must watch. Plus Danja, the guy behind Timbaland's post-Aaliyah renaissance, is on the boards for this one and comes up trumps.
